wine experiences

Experience a taste of Squerryes at the heart of a 300 year old working estate.

Tutored Tastings

January - April 2024

The vines might still be dormant, but a visit to Squerryes for a tutored tasting of our award winning Sparkling wine is full of life and vitality. As we wait for bud burst to happen and the vines to unfurl their first few leaves, we have an intimate, relaxed tasting experience in the Cellar Door.

Make the most of the last few weeks of our ‘Taste of Squerryes’ experience with wine ambassador Suzy Ioannides. With a cheese and charcuterie board to accompany your talk, take a stroll out to the vines afterwards to see if you can spot bud burst.

We are also taking bookings for May onwards so if you'd like to plan ahead and book into our very popular summer tours and tastings, take a look below.

Harvest Tours and Tastings

September - Mid October

Our harvest tours and tastings are the best time to come and see our vines, with grapes ripening on the vines and the anticipation of harvest around the corner. Harvest tours run on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and last approximately 90 minutes at a cost of £32 per person.

Start your experience with a guided tour of our vineyard and learn about the 300 year old Squerryes estate, the fascinating history of the spirit of our house, and the story of how a disagreement with a French Champagne House led to the Warde family planting vines on the North Downs at the Gateway to the Garden of England. Find out how the 2023 harvest is progressing, and see the grapes ripen ahead of all important hand harvesting in mid October.

Having learnt about the spirit of our terroir, you'll then discover more about what makes us so well placed to make exceptional, award winning sparkling wine in a tutored tasting of 3 of our vintage sparkling wines.

Your tasting will include our signature vintage Brut release, vintage Blanc de Blancs and latest vintage Rosé.

If you wish to visit after mid October please do see below for our Autumn and Winter tasting and charcuterie experience.
