Time well spent
We are experts in English sparkling wine and this is a great case to buy if you're wanting to discover more about the influence of time on the quality of our wines.
This is a mixed case of four 2017 Vintage Brut and two 2010 late disgorged Brut with over 90 months ageing on the lees. We recommend two of the 2017 bottles for drinking now and two for the cellar, to leave for up to 3 years (more if you can wait!) to allow the wine time 'on the cork'.
The 2010 Late Disgorged Brut is excellent for drinking now, but will also benefit from careful cellar treatment and also time 'on the cork'.
All these wines have been made using the Great British Classic Method, with two fermentations, the second in the bottle, showcasing the rich secondary aromas and savoury notes associated with this extended time in contact with the lees.
