Squerryes Estate

At gateway to the Garden of England

It’s an exciting time to be working in English wine, especially here at Squerryes. Since planting our first vines in 2006, we’ve been a growing family business, with roots to the land going back 7 generations. We pride ourselves on being a boutique English wine brand, producing vintage sparkling wine from fruit grown on our 2,500 acre estate, located high on the North Downs at the gateway to the Garden of England.

Our family motto, Licet Esse Beatis, is at the heart of all we do across the estate, to enjoy life’s simple pleasures with friends and family, through delicious food and wine. We also extend this philosophy to working with us. Our aim is to ensure you have a joyful, wonderful time working with us as much as we value having you as part of our team.

Wine Operations Coordinator

Full-time | September 2025 start

our Business:

‘Licet Esse Beatis’ sits above our front door at Squerryes Court. It means ‘permitted to be joyful’ and we have been in the business of creating joy for nearly 300 years.

We are a boutique English wine brand, producing vintage sparkling wine from fruit grown on our 2,500 acre Estate. Located high on the North Downs, our vines grow on a pure white chalk seam fed by a mineral rich aquifer nestled deep below the spiritual Pilgrim’s Way. We released our first vintage in 2014 and launched our tours and tastings in 2019. We now run a restaurant, tasting bar, café, shop and we offer a membership scheme.

Job SUMMARY

Do you love wine, enjoy variety in your day, and take pride in delivering excellent service? We’re looking for a confident and capable Membership Operations Coordinator to join our friendly team at Squerryes.

This is a diverse and hands-on role, perfect for someone who’s highly organised, enjoys working with both people and systems, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves when needed. You’ll be a key link between our sales, vineyard, warehouse, and customer teams, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes while building strong relationships with our members and trade clients.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Handling wine orders across trade, membership, and online sales
  • Liaising with customers, members, and trade clients on deliveries, vintage changes, and queries
  • Coordinating wine stock levels, warehouse operations, and monthly stock takes
  • Managing the members@ inbox and ensuring a first-class experience for our wine club members
  • Running membership wine offers (e.g. summer and Christmas cases) from start to finish
  • Updating our website, order systems, and CRM platforms
  • Leading and supporting membership events with our wider hospitality and wine team

What we’re looking for:

  • Confident communicator with a positive, problem-solving mindset
  • Great with systems – from Microsoft Office and Google to tills and stock software
  • Strong team player who can also work independently and use initiative
  • Physically fit and happy to lift wine cases (up to ~18kg)
  • Organised, calm under pressure, and detail-focused
  • Friendly and professional with customers and colleagues alike
  • A-levels or equivalent preferred; degree desirable but not essential

Must be aged 18+ and have a full UK driving licence + own vehicle

Why join Squerryes?

Squerryes is a family-owned estate in the North Downs of Kent, producing award-winning sparkling wines and offering outstanding hospitality through our restaurant, Cellar Door and events. You’ll join a welcoming, close-knit team with the opportunity to grow and develop as we continue to evolve.
