Just outside Westerham, at the foot of the North Downs, at the gateway to the Garden of England, sits The Squerryes Winery Restaurant, part of the Squerryes wine estate - open inside all year round and outside when the English summer permits. Our stunning outdoor space has views across the estate’s Rosé vineyard and our marvellous modern brasserie (inside) has more views and plenty of wine and estate related character.
We have created a place to celebrate the spring and summer with wonderful lunches and relaxed afternoon dining. Close your eyes for a minute and you could be in the South of France. Our private covered terrace and lawn at the rear of the Winery provide shade and shelter when needed, whilst other tables bask in glorious sunshine.
In the event of rain and bad weather we do move people inside to our indoor restaurant on the upper level of the Winery with beautiful views over the estate.
Our family motto is at the heart of all we do: to enjoy life’s simple pleasures with friends and family through delicious food and wine.
Seasonal small dishes and glorious sharing plates; select cuts of prime meat and seafood from our coastal waters are at the heart of our menu, created by our wonderful and very experienced estate chef, Alexander Baillieu. Alexander has been running restaurants and events for over 20 years.
Throughout the Garden of England and all over the Squerryes estate we are very fortunate to have a bountiful larder, the seasons and many wonderful food and drinks producers influencing Alexander’s menu: simple dishes expressing the natural flavours of the region, prepared without compromise.
At the heart of an English wine estate is our restaurant, with a focus upon estate produce, English wines and seasonal dishes. We are located just outside Westerham, at the foot of the North Downs, at the gateway to the Garden of England.
Our restaurant is part of the Squerryes wine estate and is full of character connecting you to the craft of wine making and the heart of a modern English wine estate. It is the original home of our winemaking business with views out across the south of the estate.
We only use fruit grown on the chalk soils of our North Downs vineyard - a portfolio that includes our famous Rosé, our classic Blanc de Blancs and a magnum for really special occasions.
The wine list has been designed by our Master of Wine, Laura Evans an expert in her field for 20 years. Her passion is shared with you through the ample selection of red, white and fortified wines, each with their own quite fascinating story – old and new world , contemporary English brands and exciting new finds.
