Autumn is the best time to see the vineyard, with the vines laden with grapes and plenty of activity in preparation for picking. You'll also take a stroll out to the vines and see how the ripening is coming along before enjoying a tutored tasting of 3 of our vintage sparkling wines. When the harvest is over, we'll be carrying on our tours and tastings but moving indoors.
During our tasting experiences, you'll learn about the 300 year old Squerryes Estate, the fascinating history of the spirit of our house, and the story of how a disagreement with a French Champagne House led to the Warde family planting vines on the North Downs at the Gateway to the Garden of England.
The Estate Deli is packed full of produce from the Estate, local producers from the surrounding area, as well as a select number of producers in Kent. There's also a well-stocked cheese cabinet, with regional and national cheeses from Neal's Yard, plus many accompaniments of crackers, chutneys and so much more to tempt you. Call in to browse the shelves and take home something new to try today.
As we retreat back indoors to the cosy surroundings of the Winery Restaurant, the change of season brings new depths of flavours with estate-sourced meats, truffles, mushrooms and locally caught fish. Dive into the new season à la carte menu and discover your new favourite dish.
This autumn, diners can opt to enjoy the lunch set menu from Wednesday to Saturday, offering two or three courses with supplementary extras that include some of our most popular Squerryes' dishes. Take a look at the menu and make a booking to join us for lunch soon.
