With just 421 active Masters of Wine around the world, Squerryes is fortunate to have Laura Evans as our resident expert. The title is one of the most coveted in the drinks industry and comes after proving an understanding of all aspects of wine, including passing rigorous examinations.
Her influence can be felt in the Cellar Door, the wine list in the Winery Restaurant and the Tasting Bar. We’re proud to be join with fellow winemakers to form the Wine Garden of England to raise the profile of English wine in Kent. Together with Balfour Winery, Biddenden, Simpsons, Gusbourne, Yotes Court, Westwell, Chapel Down and recent member, Domaine Evermond, we host events and tastings around Kent and London. At Squerryes, we stock still wines from our fellow members (except Domaine Evermond who have not yet produced a vintage), including the popular Ortega from Biddenden and Rabbit Hole from Simpsons. With the profile of English wines on the rise, taste one to discover a new favourite.
Every Wednesday to Sunday our tasting tables are open in the morning for freshly made coffee with a selection of pastries and patisserie from Halstead Bakery, from midday a choice of cheese and charcuterie boards with Kent smoked and cured meats alongside British cheeses from Neal's Yard of Borough Market.
Every week we have wines by the glass, be it young and aged sparkling wines from our own estate vineyards, English wines from the Wine Garden of England and a selection of new and old world wines from our Master of Wine, Laura Evans.

Our resident Master of Wine, Laura Evans has also hand picked a selection of her favourite old and new world wines, Laura's passion shared with you through the ample selection of red, white and fortified wines, each with their own quite fascinating story.
We love to share our passion and knowledge of winemaking by welcoming you on one of our tours and tastings that take place all year round. Until the end of October, you'll visit the vines as we prepare for harvest, then from November to April, our tastings will take place indoors, with a few small plates included.
