Our first ever vintage Blanc de Blancs, an elegant masterpiece that perfectly reflects the purity and energy of our terroir
This beautiful wine is very pale straw in colour with a fine mousse from 6 years lees ageing.
It has a complex nose with very many nuances: freshly baked pastries married with pink grapefruit and apple strudel. There is a wonderful concentration of creamy fruit on the palate; yeasty, bready notes giving way to the signature long and smooth Squerryes finish.
The acidity works well with dishes prepared with a creamy sauce or freshly shucked, meaty, creamy oysters, such as a Colchester or Fal
This was our first ever Blanc de Blancs, an elegant masterpiece that reflects the purity of our vineyard and in the words of our Henry Warde: “the finest wine to have ever left our vineyard” In single bottles this vintage has won 2 trophies at the IWC 2021, Best English Sparkling wine and Best English Sparkling Blanc de Blancs.
